Vimeo announced their client’s video productions will now be made available on mobile devices. Businesses of all sizes are jumping at the opportunity to grab a piece of the rapidly growing mobile device market and Vimeo is helping push the capabilities of the so-called smart phones to allow more video to be seen by more people. As users search more and more on their iPhone and Blackberry type devices they are looking for rich content and quick videos before they shop or before they attend an important meeting. In the past, many mobile users often reached a dead-end when they clicked on a web video. Vimeo is the latest technology to make viewing web videos easier. For years now, the iPhone has been making it easy for mobile users to view video when they are out and about but we think this is another positive change for the video industry.
