Shutterfly has chosen online video provider Sorenson Media as its exclusive video services partner. The news came last week just a day after video sharing service MotionBox was acquired by HP’s SnapFish.
Dan McCormick, Sorenson’s senior vice president of products was quoted on Sorenson Media’s blog as saying “We upgraded to Sorenson Media as our video technology partner because they can provide our customers with a trusted and quality solution for their online video needs, matching our commitment to delivering innovative, best-in-class services.”
Shutterfly Video enables customers to upload up to 10 video clips in any format from digital cameras, camcorders or from the user’s browser. Videos can be posted directly to any personalized Shutterfly Share site, emailed or shared on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Blogger, etc.
