Video Editing Company JayCut Acquired By RIM

Free online video editor, Jaycut, has been a great resource for anyone looking to do quick and dirty video editing online.   That all changed this afternoon as JayCut announce their video editing service has been gobbled up by RIM.  Apparently,  RIM bought the video editing company to enhance the video editing capabilities of their PlayBook product.  Not sure what this means for non-RIM users wanting to just do some video editing online.  Currently,  the service is not taking new users but they are not saying they won’t take new users in the future.  In fact, the statement on their website about the acquisition makes them  seem downright giddy about future of video editing.
